Unlock Success in 2024: Your Ultimate Guide to Strategic Lead Generation Planning! Thanksgiving is over, and Christmas is next – 2024 is right around the corner! Is it too late to Generate Leads for 2024?

Start your plan by creating a Marketing Calendar laying out all your advertising, mailings, social media/blog posts, and other miscellaneous marketing wants for 2024.

Do you need help with where to even begin?

  1. Decide What You Want: Determine what you want to achieve next year. Do you want to sell more things, generate more leads, launch new products, or focus on a specific group of customers or areas?

Setting clear goals is essential.

  1. Know Your Clients and Customers: Understand WHO you’re trying to attract. What do prospective clients or customers like, where do they spend time online, and what generation are they? This will help you decide where and how to generate leads.
  2. Use Holidays and Events: Jot down holidays like Christmas, New Year’s, Fall Back, and Spring Ahead. Valentines? Back to School? School, College, or Pro Sports? Do you want to run a promo over Black Friday or Cyber Monday? Prospects do pay attention to marketing during these times.
  3. Get Involved Locally: Take part in events happening in your area. If there are activities at schools or within your community, it could be an excellent chance to promote your business.
  4. How much money do you have to budget? Try different advertising methods, like social media, emails, or newspapers, based on how much you can spend. There are free or low-cost ways to advertise yourself.
  5. Jot down on a Calendar or Excel spreadsheet showing what you’ll do monthly for your marketing. There are many styles of calendars to use; try different layouts until you find one that is easier for you.
  6. Implement different styles and types of marketing like ongoing Sales Funnels, emails, newsletters, snail mail, pop-by’s, blog posts, social media posts, YouTube, or real-time videos. Does your market advertise in the Newspaper or Magazines?
  7. Be Flexible and Check Your Progress. Use your calendar! However, be open to new ideas should something pop up that you could capitalize on. Implementing different analytics will show you how well your ads are doing and change your marketing tactics if needed.
  8. Work Together with Others: Partner with other businesses, especially vendors you use and recommend. You can do interviews (Video or Zoom) or write guest blog posts for each other. It can help both companies get noticed and expand their reach.
  9. Try Different Things: Experiment with different ways of marketing to see what works best. Don’t worry if something doesn’t work perfectly the first time. You can always make changes.
  10. Follow the Rules: Ensure your advertising follows the rules and regulations and is honest and fair.

You don’t have to lose sleep planning your Lead Generation process for next year. Break the calendar into smaller monthly or seasonal sections, or ask for help if needed.

The last thing you want to do is put it off because it won’t get done, and you’ll wonder why you’re not attracting business.
