Tis the Season for Joy, Giving, and Staying Connected

Bild a Better Business - 'tis the Season for Giving
Simple ways to show up for your clients and be remembered long after the holidays.

If the end of the year has you pulled in every direction, you’re not alone. The final stretch of the year brings closings, open houses, school plays, client gifts, and maybe a little burnout.

But connection doesn’t have to be complicated. In fact, the most meaningful touchpoints often come from the simplest, most thoughtful actions.

Here’s how to give back from the heart and stay top of mind without doing it all.

Give Thanks, Not Just Marketing

A heartfelt “thank you” can go further than a polished postcard. A simple note or email that says, “I’m grateful for your trust this year,” can make someone’s day and remind them why they chose you.

Try this:

  • Send a November “thankful for you” message, no sales pitch, just warmth.

  • Drop off mini gratitude gifts for top clients or referral partners.

Show Up Without the Stress

Being present doesn’t mean showing up to every holiday mixer or hosting an event. Sometimes it’s just being seen in your community, inbox, or mailbox.

Simple ways to show up:

  • Highlight a local holiday event in your newsletter.

  • Share a photo of your favorite local light display on social.

  • Pop by with cocoa or candles and a note that says, “Thinking of you.”

Let Your Calendar Reflect What Matters

If you don’t have time to plan a full Q4 strategy — don’t. Pick 2–3 meaningful touchpoints between now and January and do them well.

Example touchpoints:

  • November: Gratitude message or pop-by

  • December: Holiday card or cozy gift

  • January: “New Year, Still Here for You” email or home anniversary check-in.
