(Without Stressing On Your Phone)

Summer’s here and so is the juggling act. Between client showings, kids out of school, and maybe a long-overdue vacation, your visibility can take a hit if you don’t plan ahead.
The good news? You don’t have to be online 24/7 to stay top of mind. A few simple moves can help you stay active, visible, and relevant — even while you take a break.
Set It and Forget It: Batch Your Content
Select one morning each month to plan all your social media posts, blog articles, and email content. Schedule it out and go enjoy your week.
If you’re new to batching and don’t have a social media scheduler, try Buffer. You can schedule your blog posts and social media updates for the entire month. The best part? It’s FREE for three social media accounts!
Enjoy a Quick Win: One solid post a week beats seven forgettable ones.
Repurpose What You Already Have
No need to reinvent the wheel. Turn one blog post into multiple pieces of content:
A carousel post (a swipeable post on Instagram, LinkedIn, or Facebook that lets you share tips, images, or insights in a mini slideshow format)
A short video (keep it under 60 seconds and share a quick tip, market insight, or behind-the-scenes moment that feels real and helpful). Personalize it with a selfie!!
A client success story that can go something like this: “Helped a first-time seller who was overwhelmed by the process. We took the time to prepare the home, rolled out a steady and intentional marketing strategy, and stayed in close communication throughout. The seller felt confident and cared for every step of the way.”
Market insight: Not every market update is sunshine and multiple offers — and that’s okay. Share what’s really happening, even if it’s slower or softer than usual. Honesty builds trust. You can even pair it with a chart, a local stat, or a visual that helps make the story clear without overwhelming your readers.
You can also pull a quote or a helpful tip, making it a standalone post. If something was successful once, it’s worth sharing again in a new way. Real estate content has a longer shelf life than you think.
Be Strategic with Your Listings
I always say, don’t overdo listing posts, and it’s true. Your clients can visit your website or the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) to view homes. But that doesn’t mean you can’t share them at all.
Just don’t make every post a listing. Weave in context, story, or personal touches to enhance the narrative. People want to be informed and entertained, not numbed by endless “Just Listed” posts.
Let Your Newsletter Do the Heavy Lifting
Emailing (and scheduling) a monthly Newsletter is one of the easiest ways to stay top of mind with your contacts.
Over the Summer, Keep it Short and Simple:
Highlight a local event
Share a light, summertime tip that’s both timely and relatable. Keep it short, personable, and easy for clients to enjoy.
Share a quick market stat.
Answer a client’s FAQ. You know you have a lot of them, so share them with your other clients. They may be wondering the same thing.
Consistency builds trust. You don’t need to be fancy — just real and reliable.
Bonus Tip:
Your clients and contacts don’t need to know where you are every minute of the day. Want to unplug? Tell them you’re at an appointment or taking a CE class — and then go hit the beach
(ideally somewhere outside your market area — think big hat, beach read, and your phone blissfully forgotten at the bottom of your tote).
